Itinerary

 

Day 1: Heathrow – Delhi: Depart from Heathrow airport for journey to Delhi.

 

Day 2 Arrive Delhi : Arrive at the international airport, met by our representative and transfer to Hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel.

 

Day 3 Delhi – Nainital (320 Kms) : Today drive early morning to Nainital. Reach late in the afternoon check in and relax. Overnight in Nainital.

 

Day 4 Nainital – Patal Bhuveneshwar (170 Kms): Today early in the morning visit the Naina Devi Temple. Post darshan drive to Patal Bhuveneshwar. Situated at the height of 1350 meters to the north of Gangolihat in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. The Almighty has packaged the place with Nature, Spiritual and Adventure qualities which make it a world beyond. It is known for a natural cave that gets its name after the village. This cave is a repository of various episodes of Hindu mythology, particularly Shaiva. This cave of the Gods, Pauranic and historical (complete description of Patal Bhuvaneshwar is found in Manas Khand of Skanda Purana) in importance, has a small entrance that leads to the mesmerizing world of natures chiseling. Overnight in Patal Bhuvneshwar.

 

Day 5 Patal Bhuveneshwar – Haridwar (217 Kms): Today we drive Patal Bhuveneshwar to Hari-dwar “Door to Vishnu”. Visit the Har ki Paudi, Ganga Mandir and the Haricharan Temple. Attend one of the most beautiful religious ceremony, an evening aarti at the Har Ki Paudi.

 

Day 6 Haridwar Sightseeing : Today visit the Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi Temple. Both the temples can be visited using Rope-way available in Haridwar. Optional visit Rishikesh for Evening Aarti at the Parmarth Ashram. Overnight in Haridwar.

 

Day 7 Haridwar – Chandigarh Via Saharanpur (210 Kms): Today we drive early morning to Chandigarh via Saharanpur which is only 80 Kms away from Haridwar on the way from Haridwar to Chandigarh. Shakumbari Devi Temple is situated 40 km north of in Saharanpur Uttar Pradesh. The presiding deity is Goddess Durga in the form of Shakumbari Devi, who killed Mahishasur Maha Daitya -the demon king. A major draw is Shakumbari Mela, which is held here during Navratri.Later drive to Chandigarh, overnight stay

 

Day 8 Chandigarh Visit Mansa & Chandi Devi Temple: Leave early morning for Mansa and Chandi Devi Temple. Chandigarh Mansa Devi temple is a very famous shrine located at Panchkula, which is about 8 kms away from the city. This holy Siddh Peeth is dedicated to Mata Mansa Devi. According to the Hindu mythology, the head of Devi Sati had fallen over here. Mansa Devi Temple near Chandigarh basically houses two temples. Chandi mandir is a very famous temple located at a distance of about 15 kms from the city of gardens. It is situated about 10 kms away from the Mansa Devi Shrine. Chandi Mandir is dedicated to Chandi, the goddess of power. Chandi Devi temple near Chandigarh, India is basically a Siddh Peeth, a place where wishes are believed to come true. The city of Chandigarh was named after this temple. Overnight in Chandigarh.

 

Day 9 Chandigarh – Kangra via Naina Devi, and Jwalamukhi : Today we drive early in the morning to NainaDevi Temple in Bilaspur. The distance of the shrine from Chandigarh is approx. 100 kms. It is believed that Sati's eyes fell at the place where this temple is situated. Therefore, this temple is called Naina Devi. The word Naina is synonymous with Sati's eyes. Later, visit Jwalamukhi Temple one of the 51 Shaktipeeths of India, the temple of Jwalamukhi is in Jwalamukhi town which is about 70 kilometers from Dharamsala. Jwalamukhi is a famous temple of Goddess, the deity of flaming mouth, believed to be the manifestation of the Goddess Sati, . The Devi appears in the form of nine different flames. The principal one is believed to be Mahakali. The other eight flames at different places in the temple represent the following Goddesses Annapurna, Chandi, Hing Laj, Vidhya Vasini, Maha Lakshmi, Maha Sarswati, Ambika and Anjana. Overnight in Jwalamukhi.

 

Day 10 Chintapurni, Brajeshwari and Chamumda devi : Today visit the Chintapurni Temple, The sacred place belong to 'Chhinnmastika Devi ' i.e. the goddess without head. It is also know as the Abode of Chhinnamastila. But the most popular name is CHINTAPURANI, Some parts of the holy feet of Sati are said to be fallen here, while Lord Vishnu used his Sudarshan Chakra to cut the corpse into pieces. Leave Chintapurani in the morning for Brajeshwari and Chamumda Devi Temple. The Brajeshwari Devi temple, located in the old Kangra Township, is said to have been built over the charred breasts of Sati. The famous temple of Ma Chamunda is in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is around 10 km west of Palampur, on the Baner river. Around 400 years ago the king and a Brahmin priest prayed to Devi for permission to move the temple to some easily accessible location. Overnight in Dharamshala.

 

Day 11 Dharamshala – Katra (250 Kms) : Today we leave in the morning to Katra for Vaishnodevi darshan. Overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 12 Katra – Darshan – Katra : Today we leave early morning for Darshan of Mata Vaishnodevi. You may either trek or complete the darshan by Helicopter. Return to Katra overnight at the Hotel.

 

Day 13 Katra – Jammu Via Shiv khori : Leave katra in the morning for Shivkhori return to katra and drive to Jammu for overnight stay. Visit the Raghunath temple (Optional) or relax at the Hotel.

 

Day 14 Jammu – Kolkata via Delhi : Today we leave Jammu by IT 2634 at 1400 arrive Delhi at 1630 hrs. Then board flight to Kolkata at 1805 arrive Kolkata at 2015. Overnight in Kolkata. Flight :-Indigo 6E-551/209 Jammu Dep. 1425 hrs Kolkata Arr. 2150 hrs (Delhi connecting)

 

Day 15 Ganga Sagar : Ganga Sagar can be approached from Calcutta either by road and then by a vessel, or by chartered luxury vessels starting from Namkhana & Calcutta.

 

Day 16 Kolkata Sightseeing : On second day explorations start with trips to sites like Indian Museum, Park Street, Maidan and Fort William, Rabindra Sadan, Aurbindo Bhavan and Bhuwalka Bhawan. The evening is scheduled for more places like St Paul's Cathedral, Mother Teresa's homes. The crew heads for Shobhabazar, Shyambazar and Bagbazar precincts.

 

Day 17 Kolkata to Bhubaneshwar After late breakfastast, you will be transferred to railway station to catch train to Bhubaneshwar. On arrival, you will be transferred to hotel in Bhubaneshwar. Overnight at hotel in Bhubaneshwar Train :-Bhubaneshwar Jan Shatabdi Howrah Dep. 1335 hrs Bhubaneshwar Arr. 2020 hrs

 

Day 18 Bhubaneshwar to Puri After breakfast, drive to the pious and pure city of Puri. On arrival, chech in at hotel and then you will be taken for a trip to Jagannath Temple crowned by 'Srichakra' (an eight spoked wheel) of Vishnu is dedicated to Krishna. Later explore the one of the India's finest beach i.e. Puri beach or you can go back to resort and enjoy at private Balighai Beach of resort.

 

Day 19 Puri to Bhubaneshwar - Mumbai Arrival at Mumbai. Check-in at Hotel. Late evening check-out from Hotel & Drive towards Airport for Flight back to London.

 

Day 20 Mumbai - London Morning check-out from Hotel & Drive towards Airport for Flight back to London.
